The young me(poem)

                                                                      The Young Me
The twinkling stars in the sky
Gleaming with utter shy
Lying on the garden floor
I was thinking of a fancy candy store

Realizing I finished my candy
I dozed off on my mom’s handy
Dreaming of a unicorn
And defeating a bull having horns

My small face with tiny grin
Thinking of a deadly sin
My soberness shined out of me
Beams of happiness and glee

I yawned and starred
On my overly innocent face
Sulking in my mother’s lap
Asked for another candy in a snap
